When to call
Signs you may need oven & stove repair
A single symptom does not always identify a failed part. These common warning signs are a good reason to have the equipment checked:
- An element or burner will not heat
- The oven temperature is inaccurate
- Ignition clicks without lighting
- Controls or displays are not responding
Turn equipment off and seek prompt help if you smell gas, see smoke or sparking, find significant leaking near electrical parts, or suspect unsafe combustion. For a gas odor or immediate danger, leave the area and contact the gas utility or emergency services first.
